The premier might not have consulted with his selectors

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Awami National Party (ANP) chief Asfandyar Wali on Monday while raising objection on the appointment of Zulfi Bukhari, a close aide of Prime Minister Imran Khan, as member of the cabinet said that he is not Pakistani citizen.

Talking to media after meeting of the party’s central council at Bacha Khan center, he said that why was Pervaiz Khattak given key position when National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is conducting an inquiry against him.

Regarding Kala Bagh Dam, the ANP chief said that the assemblies of three provinces had passed a joint resolution against the Kalabagh Dam in 1986, adding that how many dams could be built during the last 32 years.

He said that they would not return the autonomy received under the 18th amendment at any cost.

Lashing out at Prime Minister Imran Khan’s decision of giving citizenship to Afghan refugees, Wali said that the premier might not have consulted with his selectors.

The ANP chief went on to say that the results of other provinces were changed as the ruling party could not gained majority in Punjab. “We can be defeated in election but we will make a return,” he added.
